45HP chrysler wont turn over ofter running

Thanks For the Big Help on these forums from all these wonderful people.

I got a 45hp Chry 2 cycl. that wont turn over after running it a little on water, once we stop the engine it wont turn over again but runs well while on, if i wait about 30min to an hour it will turn over again, the 2 coiles are cracked in 2 spots(front), and were hot when we stoped the engine, my dad said there not suppose to be hot, but im not sure

Do you mean the starter won't turn the motor or it turns but won't run?If the coils are cracked they should be replaced.

the engine will turn on, but when it warms up and we turn it off then it wont start up again(starter will turn the motor but dossent run)

When it won't run check for spark and check the plugs.Do they appear wet?You will need to replace those coils.
