:confused:I did a search on this forum and read up on the shift interupter switch operation and it appears to me the switch is designed for shifting from forward or reverse to nuetral. My problem is my engine stalls when I go from neutral into gear, forward or reverse. Any thoughts on what my problem may be?

replace the lower shift cable, its worn/dragging and causing the interrupt switch to engage improperly

Shift cable is less than 1 year old and has been shifting fine until today.

did you overheat and melt the cable casing??

check all along the cable and make sure there is nothing to cause it to bind while shifting

Found my problem, the white/green wire to the interupter switch had become disconnected. FYI
