Welcome to Iboats! "Some" vapor coming from tube is normal. As long as it's not blowing oil out the tube or oil filler cap, sounds like you're okay. Did you preform the compression test with a known good tester? Your compression is good so no "blow-by" making pressure in the crank case. A little moister on the cap is normal too. If the boat sets for a while between use, condensation develops in the motor. Short trips cause this in automotive as well. Make sure the oil is not milky on the dipstick.

I just bought the compression tester it's actron brand from sears I hope it's good . My oil is looking cloudy and maybe a Little higher on the dip stick then when I changed it . I don't know if its antifreeze getting in the oil but I am not leaking it in the bilge so I don't think it the cam seal . Is there another way it can get there ? not sure if it just the little bit of old oil that the pump doesn't get out mixed with new oil. I pumped out a little lest then four qt with the pump so there should be 1.5 qt left in there .if it was gas I would smell it right? I might be in the beginning stages of something i might try to take the boat and check dip stick When i get back to the dock Thanks for getting back to me happy boating !

Make sure the engine waterpump weep hole is clear.
