470 to v6 swap

Sorry if this was covered before! Did a search but couldn't find it.
Just found a deal on a boat with a bad 190 and need to no what I would have to do to put a v6 it her. Not to excited about doing a rebiuld on the 470,been there done that, makes a better cut rope to leave anchor! LOL

Ayuh,... Basically,.. Only the Outdrive can be reused...

So the gimble housing and everthing needs to change? What about cables and such inside. Figured the outdive was useable, Just didn't know if anything esle was(read post the gear ratio was the same)

Ayuh,.. You'll run into exhaust fitment issues,+ Motor mount issues...
Inner transom stuff, that's apart of the outer transom stuff...

I guess what I'm sayin' is,....
Everything foreward of the Outdrive poses to be a Fitment Issue of some sort....
It comes down to What you've Got,+ How creative of a Re-engineer you are.....
