I pulled off the stator housing with a puller took off the stator.

I took off the timing chain cover to inspect the seals that I thought would be leaking.

The cam looked in really good shape, no deep grooves, nothing looked like it need to be replaced. The seals almost looked new also, I cannot believe they were in as good of condition and they are. I'm starting to think its not the seals.

But what would make coolant/water come out of that weep hole on the cover? I cannot seem to figure that out!

I took pictures of what it looks like, I took the pictures with my phone not the greatest.

Could you explain the issue? What prompted this deconstruction?

If it is leaking coolant out of the weep hole, then the seals are the issue. If there is any type of grove in the camshaft, you have to do the speedi fix to stop the leak.

You will need a micrometer to buy the seals. You can use it as well to tell how deep the grove is in the camshaft.

A/F coming from the weep hole means you need 2 new seals, you cant tell just by looking.
Was your aluminum impeller bolted or screwed on?

Why does your oil pan have a milkshake in it? And also why are your timing gear rusted? Are you saying 2 water pump seals caused all that?

The water pump seals keap the oil and coolant from mixing, if they go the pump will begin to pump coolant into the crank case, thus giving the milky oil and rusted timeing gear.

I know absolutly nothing of the 470, but to me this sounds like a scary design.

Do a search on the 470 and you will see the story. They were around for a while, and MUCH has been said about them. If you are not mechanically inclined...not a good motor to try and live with.

It's an easy fix.If you can handle a wrench. They sell a seal/bushing kit that needs to be installed. You might get away with just replacing the seals. Not likley but possible.J
