Just started using a 1989 Mariner 4A OB hand-me-down from a boating friend. Started up after a dozen pulls. Seems to run fine but when I put it in "tilt" position on transom for storage, fuel seems to drip out from catch basin. Any ideas?

Your carb likely needs a rebuild. I bet the needle and seat is not sealing off causing fuel to leak out. When you rebuild it, get all new gaskets, a new float, and a new needle and seat.
