Well it still ran poorly so I ripped the engine a part tonight. The upper and lower crank seals were leaking slightly. The cylinder walls have fine scratches. The lower piston picked up something and marked the skirt.<br /><br />The engine will get honed and put back together with new seals and gaskets. It really needs oversized pistons, bored oversize cylinders, and oversized rings.<br /><br />I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best. I can't believe how many roller bearings that are in this thing. What a mess. I hope I got all of them. When I split the case little roller bearings fell all over the place. DOH! The rings look like they are in good shape. I'll measure them up tomorrow.
