Well, here's one that I witnessed (just saw the police boats out looking for someone, didn't actually see the guy..)

That was Friday..
Saturday night we tied up with about 10 boats.
Just as the 10th was tying up we see two swimmers in the water screaming "HELP HELP HELP" as they were being swept away from their tiny 10 foot skiff. They were about 100 -200 feet behind it with a current of a few mph taking them away..
Our 10th boat that wasn't tied up yet quickly motored over and threw them life preservers and got them back to their boat.
Usual story, 1 girl on the boat, 2 guys, all drunk, showing off for girl..... not even ONE life preserver on the actual boat.
What a bunch of morons!
Next was on the way in, we had a 40 foot cruiser pass us at at least 20 knts.
I don't care if you have radar or not, you shouldn't be doing that in a channel full of small boats heading in.
On the good side.
We had an excellent time, I met so many new people and we were the biggest raft party out there!
I only had 2 half glasses of wine - as the police were ALL over everyone.....had some great food and the fireworks were the best I've ever seen in my town!
Here's some pics from the night!
The guy who got us all together: Very nice man!! My family and female friend off to the left on my boat:
Party Just getting started:
Another nice view of the boats off our Starboard:
The kiddos up top had the best view out of anyone for the fireworks!!
