4th of July in Puget Sound

I am curious about what 4th of July in Puget sound is like, first 4th with our boat. Where is a good place to see fireworks? Will they allow anchoring in Lake Union, Commencement Bay or Elliot Bay this day/night? Are there other locations that are better?

A similar question was asked on this forum, but unfortunately it did not get a lot of action from the other members of this board. I have attached the link to the original thread.
