5.0 GXi-F warm/hot starting problem

engine type : volvo penta 5.0 GXi-F 270HP , V8 fuel injection
Ser number : 4012168779

Cold start , never a problem , but when the engine ran for some time and stops , it wont start , have to start with WOT , then it will start

any ideas ?

Moving the throttle to the WOT position indicates a flooded condition.
Might want to get it hooked up to a diagnostic computer when the engine is running and warmed up and see what the ECT is showing for temp. If really low, it could be pumping too much fuel into a warm engine when starting and flooding it out.

Don , thanks for the reply , do you know where the ECT gets the temp from ? last year i had some trouble with the temp-probe thats in the coolingsystem .
