5.0 GXi Volvo Penta engine vibrates

When I start the 2007 5.0 GXi Volvo Penta engine it vibrates and makes the steering actuator oscillate.
However, if the engine is restarted immediately afterwards, it starts normally without any vibration.
If I start the engine after 5 or 10 minutes it starts normally.
However if I start the engine after an hour or 2 the vibration problem returns.
After the engine starts the vibration stops and the engine works normally.

What could it be? Fuel system? Water entering the cylinders?

Hi. It’s looking like it’s miss firing or one or two cylinders aren’t firing for a second there. I’d be looking at the distributor to start with perhaps

Agree, look at the cap and rotor

If not the diz…look for a couple of loosely fitting HT leads perhaps.

OK, but If I start again the engine after 5 or 10 minutes it starts normally.
Cap and rotor are Ok
