(OMC 5.0) Ford 302 (95' EFI). I just installed my head gaskets and was double thinking something I did. The holes for the water passages on the head gasket were very small compared to the hole sizes on the head and the block. Almost less than half the size of the holes. My boat has a raw water pump. I was curious if I should have enlarged the holes in the head gasket to accomodate the size holes in the head/block or if the holes were that size to allow for a particular flow rate?
