I have a 1994 5.0lx mercruiser. I have replaced just about everything i can think of fuel wise. When you take off at WOT it bogs down and eventually once it starts to plane out it picks up speed and then its like you hit the nitrous and off it goes. If you partial throttle to start to plane off the work your way to WOT it does not do it as bad. I have rebuilt the 4 barrel quadrajet, new mechanical fuel pump, checked all the fittings on the fuel take to make sure they were not corroded. Put a new distributor cap and new spark plugs. The only thing i have not checked is the timing but would not think it would run so good at top speed if it was off. Does anyone have any more ideas that i can try?
