At first I thought my problem was similar to a couple other threads, but it seems to have different symptoms. The engine takes a while to start the first time, but then usually starts up quickly thereafter. Once it warms up it starts fine the rest of the day, but can take a few minutes to start once launched.

Does this just sound like basic flooding, or do I have carburator issues?

Thanks!

Check your choke, see if it's stuck open.
Is this boat new to you? Do you know how to start a carbed engine? It's not like starting an EFI car.
