5.7 vibration

Hello everyone, I have a 2001 3055 bayliner with twin 5.7's and bravo 2's. The starboard engine has a vibration that is worse at about 2000 rpm. I can feel it when underway and also in neutral at the dock. No unusual noises and it does not change when the outdrive is turned or moved up and down. Since it does it in neutral, I think it rules out the prop or drive. Is it possible for the gimble , u-joints or alignment to cause this or maybe something in the engine itself ? This is a new to me boat with 100 hrs. The vibration is not terrible but noticeable and I would like to maybe head off worse problems later. Is it possible to have 2 ign. wires crossed but the motor still runs strong and WOT is correct on both engines? I know it is hard to diagnose without feeling it but maybe someone has had a problem like this in the past and can give me some ideas where to start looking. Thanks

Re: 5.7 vibration

You already know.

Got to pull the drive. Check the gimbal, u-joint.

Hey don't rule out the drive.

Hows the oil in the drive?

Oh nice motors, and drives, cost plenty i bet.

Obvious: they are tuned correctly?

Why you ask about the ignition?

Both should be separate.

Only thing should, be connected is a fuel line.

And power to battery-battery's.
