5.7 vortec cam

Is a 5.0 vortec cam the same as the 5.7 vortec. I'm doing a long block swap and need to reuse my cam.

Measure the lobe lift with calipers or mic. If you get 0.287 on intake and 0.300 on exhaust, it is probably the standard roller cam used in Merc vortec 350's.
