5.7manual

I have this late 2000 model 5.7 and having the hardest time setting it up for serpentine belt . job came in boxes and not sure if a bracket is missing.engine tag # L6676345 .power steering does not accept the bracket for the alt.and idler pully has no place to go.what is the correct manual .

24 is the only 57 manual there was. It was for all between 98 - 01
Your SN has too many numbers, but the L puts it in the 24 range.

Well, it's a little more than a 5.7, It's a 1999 MIE 350 MAG MPI Horizon.
Note the MIE (Inboard), it's not set up like a MCM (I/O)

now i know where the block came from, the problem is with the idler/adjuster for the serp belt. original motor was `97 and the parts came in a box.I did not do the dis-assembly.
ps is up high with alt below on port side. From what i can get out of #24 the idler is stbd up high. cant figure out the bracket.this is a rwc engine .

Thanks, seems like its supposed to be on the circ pump bolt and head but somethings not right or I`m missing another bracket.
