Hi folks, this is my first post in these boat forums and i hope this is the right place for this question!<br /><br />My brother-in-law gave me a 5 hp Bridgestone outboard motor. It's a 2 cyl with built in tank and forward/neutral/reverse. It sat in my shed for two years but just yesterday my grand son and I got curious and put it in a water tank and gave it a try. It had fuel in the tank that smelled like varnish, but the dang thing fired right up in only three cranks!<br /><br />Anyway, I wonder if anybody knows anything about these motors or where more info can be found.<br /><br />All help greatly appreciated.
