5 HP Sea King

I have a 5 HP Sea King Model GG8960A. Can anyone tell me how to determine who manufactured this motor and where can I find a owners manual and parts?

You Have a 1957 Hp model. It was made by OMC's Gale division. The Gale model for same motor is 5D14. It depends on what kind of parts you need. I believe Napa auto parts can order most ignition type parts, your Johnson/Evinrude dealer may help also. Most hard parts you will have to did up used.

Sorry, for a manual try your local library. They usually have a couple of older general outboard repair manuals in the referance section. You should be able to gleen enough info there to get you started.
