I can easily do most of this service, but there are a few "check"s that Merc says have to be done by a service technician, and I assume that means not just know-how and instruments, but also maintaining the warrantee.

This is the initial service. I'll do it about 20 hours early since I'm not real comfortable waiting the recommended 100. If I had it to do over, I would have changed engine and gear lubricants at 10 hours, but the manual doesn't specify that and my trusty dealer said not to bother.

She runs great.

One possible problem-- I'll be far away from my home area when I need the service, at a coastal resort area of Massachusetts. Any ideas on what it ought to cost?
