50 evinrude

my 50hp evinrude keeps flooding the needles in the carb are good and the floats are correct but it keeps flooding i took it appart and cleaned it up, i thought that worked because it ran fine this weekend but it used twice the gas as normal so i gassed up but then it started to flood and wouldnt run. any ideas?

floats out of adjustment while putting it back? that would cause you to use more than normal. check the manual for the right height and verify the current height.

the height is good, i was trolling and it drank the 10 gallon tank in 4hrs when usually i can go all day.

one of the floats may be sticking...
