Installing new prop. My question is, the washer or piece that slides over the shaft before the prop goes on, this washer has a groove on the edge. Should this washer be pressed into the housing or does it just fit tight against the housing? There is some space to press it in so it is flush, but I don't know if that is correct. When I took it apart, it was not pressed in. I appreciate your response.
