50 hp 2cyl eninrude what did I just do need help

hey there I just changed the oil in the lower unit ran it pulled the spark plugs out fogged in the cylinder screwed the plugs finger tight in but not the cap<br />turned the engine over the leads to my battery got hot they were connected properly now on a fresh battery the motor clicks and the leads get hot what did I do help one thing I noticed the lower plug got loose HELP

You might have better luck on the outboard forum; This is for inboards.<br />If I were to take a guess, I'd say you've "hydrauliced" the engine. In other words, it was full of liquid and you tried to start it. You can't compress a fluid, so the starter won't crank against it. Pull the plugs out and try turning it over by hand. Pray you haven't bent something. <br />By the way, a little punctuation would go a long way in making your post easier to understand, eh?

Punctuation?!? You mean those pesky periods and commas? Geez, poor guy probably filled the cylinders with oil. Remove the plugs and see if it will turn over.
