50 HP E-Tec Power?

Not sure if this is the correct forum but I would appreciate your opinion:
I'm considering purchasing a used 2009 Lowe 16.5 ft aluminum deep V fishing boat with a 50 HP E-Tech outboard.
My question: Is 50 HP enough to get this boat up on plane with 4 people and a full fuel tank (16 gal) ?

What does the boat capacity plate say? Usually, 70% of max rated HP is enough for satisfactory performance if not overloaded.
