My 50 hp is bogging real bad when WOT and sometimes it decides it wants to gradually run nicely. It has good compression and good spark according to the mechanic. I put new coils plugs and wires in. He said the carbs look fine. I just dont understand why sometimes it would run great and moments later it barely moves. If you could help me out that would be great.

Several websites say it could be the power pack or the points. If anyone has insight on what it could be that would help me out a lot. If you need further explanation of what is happening to my engine that would be fine. I am an amateur so feel free to shift me in the right direction.

Electronic ignition.
You could purchase an inline spark tester and have some watch it while under load and bogging. Test 1 plug at a time.

If Spark is strong, either Plugs are breaking down or Carb issue exist.
