I have a 50 hp force outboard that overheated & has lost power from that
I've been told that one of the pistons could be distorted from this, or blown head gasket & now might have loss of compression

Anybody have an aproximate what it will cost to have the top end of this engine repaired/redone

Thanks

Welcome to iboats.

No way to give an accurate answer until the exact problem is diagnosed. Then Guru Frank can give you the low-down!

Gonna need the year and model number for your 50HP Force. Also I agree, before you do anything. Wait till Frank gets to you. He usually comes on every morning and evening. He is very knowledgeable and will walk you thru everything.
