I have a newly acquired 1975 johnson 50 hp boat motor, I am getting no spark on either cylinder. I have a manual and have performed some of the tests in the ignition section but they call for a neon light and then give a alternative with an ohm meter using high/low settings. Well my ohm meter havs real high settings so I don't know if I am doing this right but it looks like i have a bad sensor coil, on the low setting where I should read 10 to 20 ohms i get 125 and on the high setting I get 1 when it should read 0. any idea's thanks
