So my 50hp 2 stroker merc 2006 puked out half way out through the river. It dropped down to like half rpms and half power, still had the throttle to the wood but not much go so I just continued along out to the Sand bar. Started it back up and it stahled out. So restart and throttled up just fine whined her up then go back to idle and got in gear before it would Stahl again, and hammered down with same results no power and only gave me about half rpms. Linkages look fine has new plugs and I treat the gas. Not sure if fuel pump would act this way, or one cylinder not firing, or carb issue?? Thoughts or anyone have this happen?
