I am just looking to get a general price of what this motor would be worth. I have no idea where to start on a price. It has all the controls, no tilt and trim, lower unit leaks a little water, 2-perfect condition props, 6-gallon gas tank. Starts every time. Let me know your opionon.

never hurts to offer the NADA # and see what they say. Water in the LU would cause me to cut my offer in half - I don't relish the thought of rebuilding a LU in the event that its more than "just a little water"

Do a compression check before you make an offer on it. A motor will still start and run if the compression is low but you will not get the full performance out of it and you will need to rebuild the powerhead to fix it. That's a costly and time consuming job. If the owner will not allow you to check the compression then walk away from it and find something else. If the compression is good then practice capitalism and haggle, haggle, haggle.
