Seems like motor starved for fuel when throttle up like it's running very lean or not firing all cylinders. I throttle up and motor barely runs. Last time fishing my outing ended and I limped back to the boat ramp at perhaps 1/4 throttle but the handle was wide open. I replaced fuel to non oxygenated, put in additives to clean fuel system and today returned to lake to run new fuel through system. It ran poorly until I discovered that when I pull the choke out about 1/2 way while motor is running and throttle up it finally "kicks in" and starts to run ok. I can then zoom up and down the lake just fine. But, if I should stop and idle motor in neutral, or turn it off and restart (It seems to start ok) I have to repeat the choke procedure. I bought the boat last fall and put in storage without running it. this spring it ran fine with ear muffs. On the water this spring it ran pretty good but occasionally would hiccup or bog out, almost die and then kick back in on its own. It would do that once in a while. It has gotten progressively worse. Now it's all the time until I do the choke procedure then it runs as it should.

choke helping says carbs need cleaned.
Follow steps/procedures for link and sync after reinstalling.
Make sure to flush out tank, lines, bulb, and pump if you find trash in carbs.

Might be a good idea to run a compression test on motor since you have been running it for way to long with a fuel problem.
May have already hurt a piston/cylinder or 2 while running too lean
