50hp Johnson Bombadier/Warning horn

I have a 2003 Johnson/Bombardier four-stroke. I got the wiring harness to convert it to a consule drive and hooked everything up, it all worked but I am wondering how I can actually test the warning horn. I know if I put 12 volts to it it will sound but I am wondering if i can short out the temp sensor, where it is and what color wires are on it.

I had this posted in the Johnson Forum but they recomended to come here becasue the actual motor is a suzuki.

I would not mess with that engine without a Service Manual, v-town. It will offer detailed instructions on testing sensors.

The horn should beep when the key is turn on and it does a system check. Mine does 2002 50HP.
