I have a 50hp Nissan on a 16ft. Xpress aluminum boat and am trying to decide if I am running the right prop. The motor is a tiller handle model with no tachometer so I am basically quessing at what rpm's I am running. I am running a 15 pitch Powertech prop but it feels like the motor could run a larger prop. I can't keep buying $200 props until I find the right one so if anyone has any experience with this motor I would appreciate any help.
