50hp stroke idling problems

hi ,newbie here,im having problems with my 50 hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke,the problem is idling or slow driving with engine in gear it just cuts out.the engine starts straight back up always,there is no problem at half to wide open throthle.changed filters ,plugs,.im sucpecting aweak fuel pump may be the cause ,as when its starts to die if i sqeeze the primer it will stay running for a little while and starts to quit i squeeze primer and keeps going,would appreciate any opions or help.thanks in advace for any help

The fuel pump is easy to rebuild, but an air leak in the fuel line can cause the same symptoms, the connector having poor sealing O-rings is a common problem.
