i am going to replace my drain tubes first thing in the morning and am planning on using 5200 fast cure. here is the dilemna, the cure time is 24hrs, but i want to be in the water about 8 hrs later.
i am curious if i dont let it cure for 24hrs, will i be ruining my work?
i am impatient to get back on the water, but i dont want to let uncured sealant allow water to get into the transom.
thanks in advance for any advice.

I put a new bow-eye on my boat one evening and used the boat the next morning, aprox 8 hours later, and the 5200 was still tacky. It held, but took a beating on the water that day and looks a littel funky now.
