for the stainless screws and the through hole I'm using to attach my new trim tabs to the transom.<br /><br />what ya think?

5200 would be my opinion. It's flexible, but once it's on, it's considered to be permanant. I've taken it off with a little lighter fluid, but it seals really, really well. I sealed a 4" crack that was below the waterline in an aluminum boat with that stuff once, and never had a problem.

I would suggest 3m 4200. It is designed for this purpose. <br /><br />If you will be pre-drilling the holes, it wouldn't be a bad idea to try and get some epoxy in the hole to seal the transom core (wood or foam).
