My friends "new" Viking handles terribly at slow speed. I just met the boat (on a trailer) and a first glance, I thought the prop was too far from the rudder. It's about 6" or more.. Anyone know how close they should be and would it help low speed handling? I'm thinking the previous owner bent the shaft and just cut it off and retapered it; making it short. Thanks, C.
