55 hp Rude, No water coming out the pee hole

Ok, got a new to me motor. The previous owner told me had changed the impeller in the motor, but no water is coming out the pee hole? Is it possible the line is just clogged or is it more likely that the impeller wasn't replaced??

I had the motor running the other day and it didn't seem to be getting hot, but then again, once i saw no water was coming out the pee hole I didn't run it very long.

Any thoughts?

Critters love those tubes. Id disconnect the tube from the block and blow through it - make sure thats clear. Run the motor a little with the tube off water should come out then. If nothing - pull the foot and check that the impeller is installed right. I believe they have a pin or key that the impeller rides on. if that was left out then it wont spin and pump water. Good luck
