I am trying to set the idle adjustments on my outboard, it wont stay running and for the time that it does it is not smooth at all. Any suggestions on how to tune the carb?

Follow Joe Reeves instructions:<br />Click here. <br />If the adjustments are turning too easily, tighten the packing nut behind them. A leak around them will screw up the idle too.<br />If this doesn't help, you'll likely have to rebuild the carb. Post back and tell us what you find!<br /><br />Welcome to Iboats!
