'56 for '65 Evinrude carb swap?

Can anyone say with certainty whether a 1965 Lightwin carb fit a 1956? Are they the same? Or, are the float chambers the same? I have a cracked chamber on '56, and I can buy a whole used '65 carb at good price (can't find just the chamber for sale).

Go to marine engine.com and check part numbers for the carb body.
