I need some help finding a part (or 2) for a 1957 12 HP 2 Stroke Elgin. I have it working really well now except for 1 thing... It only runs on 1 cylinder. I have spark on the second cylinder but it's not working well. I swapped the small brass parts (looks like a big capacitor) probably the condenser right? And the problem persisted. I swapped the only other part under the flywheel, the coil if I am not mistaken and the problem followed that part.

I think I need a new coil for it. Here is the tag off the motor. Can anyone help me. I got a new impeller a few days ago and it was $50. I am hoping, but not expecting, this part may cost less.

As you probably know built by West Bend which became Chrysler in circa 65.
If one cyl. is working right try swapping the coils to check them.

Read it again...I did that already.

I just ordered a part from my local stealer..I checked with 3 shops and all were similar in price, ~$50.
