First thing is that the motor seems to retard itself when pull starting..Also does the water intake and output (pee) come from the same area on the foot. Any one have a service manual. Thanks
Water should come out from the vent about halfway down the back of the shaft, it doesn't have a pee spout. If you are not getting water fill your barrel/garbage can up higher - about to the water pump. Service manual at marineengine.com
Water comes out the odd hole about 1/2 way up the leg.Intake is in the leading edge of the exhaust snout.self retarding is probably the stator or
coils rubbing on the flywheel. You may find an aftermarket service manual at the library.
