58 fastwin different than others?

I have a 58 fastwin 18 and all the post iv read about tuning the carb says to stsrt with the full throttle knob 1 turn out.... well my knob only has ~300 degrees of rotation. It has a stopper on it. Am j reading the wrong tuning how toos or is mine not what I'm thinking it is?

You have to actually take the knob off,or possibly push in on the face plate and adjust that way.I use to take the knob off seat the needle ,make the initial adjustment then put the knob back on in the middle so you could adjust either way.
