59 glaspar with 58 35 hp super seahorse johnson

I recently received this gift. It last ran in 2005. The boat floor is delaminated down the center. I replaced plugs, battery cables, and hypoid oil. I need help , suggestions etc... Is this a 12 volt system requiring a 12 volt battery?Floor issue? What else to do before attempting to start in barrel.
