Can anyone please tell me the plug gap and oil mixture for my engine. I have j6c plugs in it now are these correct? Also can you please tell me what to put in the lower unit, when i first cracked it open it was filled with water and thick grease:eek:,that doesn't seem right to me. any info/suggestions will be greatly appreciated

J6C is the right plug. Gap them at .030"; set points at .020".

Fuel mix is either 20:1 or 24:1, using TC-W3 oil, depending on which book you read.

Original mix of 16:1 used SAE 30 motor oil. No longer a valid option.

Were it mine I would do the 24:1 mix.

Good luck. :)

One more question. I have a sunken float, what can i use to make a new one? I was told to use cork and coat it with something but what should I use?
