6 hp 1977 evinrude plugs foul out

It will run fine for a little while then foul out the bottom plug. Then it will spit and sputter at a higher rpm but will not run at full capacity. Runs but slow. rebuilt carb. thank you

You know of course that the carb feeds both cylinders, it is not likely that would cause one cylinder to fail. So now check the ignition system which feeds the cylinders more or less independently. Also check compression for uneveness

I believe the fuel pump may be pulsed off the bottom cylinder if the diaphram
is bad extra fuel will get in.It may appear smoky as well.

thankyou I will look into that, Is therethe possibility the bleeder valve could have anything to do with it.
