6 HP Evinrude

It runs but seems to be on one cylinder only. The bottom one. Runs fast but not slow. Could it be coil and if so how do I test coil? Perhaps powerpack? Thank

What is the year and model number of your outboard. Without that info we cannot help you.

To test a coil go to youtube and type in how to test outboard coil there is a video by doug penn that explains everything great easy to check. I assume this motor has points and condensor the points could also need cleaned or adjusted.
