How much does it cost to get licensed to run a 6 pac? Other than sea time, and background check/ screening, are there any other requirements. Are there mandatory courses/classes to attend if sea time requirements are met?

I believe a navigation course is required, or at least that it would be hard to pass the exam (there is one) without it.
