On the side of the thermostat housing is a M10 x 1.0 plug where you can fit a temperature sender. But where in the world can I get one ?

Thanks

From the same manufacturer as the gauge. For most outboard gauges you need a sender that has 33-240 ohms of resistance (hot to cold). The gauge and sender must match.

I discovered that in fact this is not the right place, it's a water pressure port! I now have a Smartcraft Tacho that reads the engine temperature accurately.

Are you 100% sure about that? I'm trying to figure out where to tap for my W/P gauge.

By any chance, do you know what size fitting I need?
