Will a 60 Hp 1976 Model 606HA and 75 Hp 1975 Model 757HA have a lot of the same parts? Will the L/U work , Carbs, Stator, Etc?
I have the opportunity to purchase the 60 HP Model 606HA for very cheap and would like to use it for parts.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

Sorry! Nothing will interchange. The 60 is a completely different series engine. The only thing you might be able to use is the carbs, and there you only have two so you would need to find a third one.

Compared to the 75, the 60 is less common and parts for it are not as easy to find. In addition, the 1974-1976 60 HP used the very problematical Magna Power II ignition. Parts for this failure prone ignition are extermely difficult to find.

Stay away from this engine at any price unless you need the lower unit or the block for the same horsepower engine.
