This engine runs perfect until wide open throttle. After 1-1/5 minutes the RPMs start to drop and fluctuate. I replaced everything that I was told to do. Fuel line, filter, pump cleaned out the VST. Down to thinking it may be electrical or something in the fuel management. Any past experience with this?
Thanks

Re: 60 hp Mercury 4 stroke EFI fuel delivery issues

I've got the same motor, purchased last year from a certified Merc technician. One thing he said was that he replaced the fuel pump, even though it ran fine, because fuel pumps in earlier EFI mercs (which he included 2002 model) had a problem where after 4 or 5 years of use developed a problem whereby the shaft in the fuel pump had a tendency to bind, resulting in erratic fuel delivery at mid speeds. Sounds like your problem. He installed a newer model fuel pump which has the design problem rectified.

Steve have you tried that. Did it work? I'm having the same problem.
